   Locate the J1939 diagnostic plug (often located on the fender on Magnum tractors or in the fuse/relay compartment on Steiger tractors) and verify the CAN 1 side is properly plugged into the PCM harness.

   Check the network status indicator lights on the connected modules (e.g., a flashing orange light indicates a network issue, whereas green indicates proper communication).

   Connect a CAN Translator box to the CAN 1 port and use a diagnostic program (like CAN Commander) to monitor network traffic and verify the integrity of the CAN Terminator.
