Case IH 2873 – Trans (Transmission Control Module / TCU): Software is out of the calibration mode and the park brake request is still active

The transmission controller has exited its calibration routine, but the internal logic request to hold the park brake (which is commanded during calibration) is stuck in the 'active' state. The system recognizes this impossible logic state as a software bug.

   Verify if a transmission or park brake calibration was recently attempted, interrupted, or failed.

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine's diagnostic port.

   Check the current software revision loaded onto the Transmission Control Module.

   Check for any accompanying park brake or calibration fault codes (such as 2874, which is a related software bug code).
