Case IH 2910 – Transmission Control Module (Trans / TCU): 12VF1 voltage supply is low. (possible blown fuse*)

The system has detected that the 12-volt power supply on the specific '12VF1' circuit has dropped below the normal operating threshold.

   Inspect the fuse panel for a blown fuse on the 12VF1 circuit (typically located behind the operator's seat).

   Verify that the main power supply from the tractor battery is within normal operating limits (12V+).

   Check the power control relays (Cab Power Relay or Implement Power Relay) to ensure they are closing properly and supplying voltage to the fuse block.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors for the 12VF1 circuit between the fuse block and the Transmission ECU/UCM for damage, corrosion, open circuits, or shorts to ground.

   Turn off the tractor, apply the parking brake, and remove the key from the ignition.

   Locate the fuse and relay panel.

   On most applicable Case IH tractors, this is located behind the operator's seat and can be accessed by removing the rubber liner and tray.

   Consult the fuse diagram on the panel cover to locate the fuse for the UCM/VCM +12VF1 circuit.

   For example, on Magnum models, this is often located in Block 2B, designated as Fuse F-053.

   Remove the fuse and visually inspect the filament.

   Use a digital multimeter to test the fuse for continuity.

   If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the exact same amperage rating (typically 5 Amp).

   If the fuse is intact, turn the key to the ON position and use a multimeter to verify that 12V power is reaching the fuse terminal.

   If power is present at the fuse but the code persists, trace the 12VF1 wiring harness to the Transmission ECU to check for breaks or shorts.

   Repair any damaged wiring as necessary.

   Reinstall the fuse panel cover and rubber liner.

   Turn the key ON and clear the fault codes using the tractor's Pro display or an Electronic Service Tool (EST).

    Start the machine and verify that fault code 2910 does not return.
