This fault indicates a severe internal software error (a 'Division by zero' calculation error) within the microprocessor of the steering valve controller.    Locate the Actuator

   Locate the electrohydraulic steering valve block on the tractor. The steering valve controller (PVED-CLS or PVED-CC) is the electronic actuator bolted directly to this valve block.

   Disconnect

   Disconnect the main harness connector from the controller (typically a 12-pin Deutsch DT04-12PA-B016 connector). Inspect the pins for fretting corrosion, though this specific code is almost always an internal module failure rather than a wiring issue.

   Remove the Controller

   Unbolt the failed Danfoss PVED actuator from the hydraulic steering valve body.

   Install the New Controller

   Mount the replacement steering valve controller to the valve body and torque the bolts to OEM specifications. Reconnect the 12-pin Deutsch connector.

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST). Flash the new Steering Valve Controller (SVC) with the correct software version (e.g., SVC software version 2.02) and the specific tractor's Advanced Steering Configuration dataset.
