Case IH 3025 – Engine Controller: Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Inside ECU Out Of Range - Signal Below Range Min.

The internal atmospheric (barometric) pressure sensor, which is built directly into the engine's computer, is registering a voltage or pressure reading that falls below the minimum acceptable threshold.

   Verify that code 3025 is active and not a stored, historical code.

   Check the main power and ground supplies to the Engine Controller to ensure the module is receiving proper voltage (low voltage can sometimes cause erratic internal sensor behavior).

   If the code remains active and power/ground supplies are verified, the internal hardware has failed and the module must be replaced.

   Power Down

   Turn off the machine and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical arcing or damage.

   Disconnect Harnesses

   Locate the Engine Controller (usually mounted on or near the engine block). Carefully unlock and disconnect the main wiring harness connectors (e.g., 60-pin or 94-pin connectors) from the ECU.

   Remove the ECU

   Remove the mounting bolts securing the Engine Controller to its bracket or isolation mounts and remove the unit.

   Install the New ECU

   Mount the replacement or remanufactured Engine Controller and secure the bolts.

   Reconnect

   Reconnect the main wiring harnesses, ensuring the connector locks are fully seated. Reconnect the battery.

   Programming

   A new or remanufactured Engine Controller must be flashed/programmed with the correct software file for your specific machine using the CNH Electronic Service Tool (E.A.Sy).
