Case IH 3030-13 - DEC – DEC: Hydro static unit control solenoid out of calibration

The proportional solenoid responsible for controlling the hydrostatic drive unit has lost its calibration parameters, meaning the controller can no longer accurately determine the solenoid's position or electrical baseline to command the hydrostatic pump/motor effectively.

   Check the solenoid's wiring harness for resistance and continuity

   Perform forced calibration

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) laptop to perform a forced calibration routine on the affected hydrostatic unit control solenoid.

   Inspect wiring harness

   If the calibration fails, check the solenoid's wiring harness for resistance and continuity to ensure there are no breaks or shorts.

3. 3

   Replace solenoid

   If the wiring harness is in good condition but the calibration still fails, replace the hydrostatic unit control solenoid.
