Case IH 3037 (F-102-04) – ECU (Engine Control Unit): Intake manifold pressure sensor voltage is lower than expected.

The Engine Control Unit (ECU) is detecting a voltage signal from the Intake Manifold Pressure (MAP/Boost) sensor that falls below the normal operating range (shorted to a low source or disconnected).

   Verify that the machine battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (e.g., jump box or external charger). If connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation.

   Inspect the wiring harness and the 4-pin connector at the intake manifold pressure sensor for damage, corrosion, or a short to ground.

   Check the ECU (specifically A-095) for the appropriate software version and re-flash the ECU if necessary.

   Turn off the machine and disconnect the battery to ensure safety.

   Ensure safety before beginning the repair.

   Locate the Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor on the engine's intake manifold.

   Identify the sensor location.

   Disconnect the 4-pin electrical connector from the sensor.

   Remove the electrical connection.

   Remove the retaining hardware and pull the old sensor out of the manifold.

   Extract the faulty sensor.

   Install the new sensor.

   Ensure the sealing ring/O-ring is properly seated during installation.

   Reconnect the 4-pin electrical connector.

   Restore the electrical connection to the new sensor.

   Reconnect the battery.

   Restore power to the machine.

   Perform a System Reset using the Electronic Service Tool (EST).

   If the machine experienced a power loss or inducement due to this code, use the EST to perform the 'Engine Restart Counter Reset / Unlock Inducement' configuration in the EST configure menu before returning the machine to service.
