Case IH 3073 – ENG / EDC: Cylinder 6 - Injector Cable Short circuit (Low Side to Battery)

The low-voltage wire of the fuel injector cable for cylinder 6 has short-circuited to the battery voltage.

• Case STX Steiger tractors (350 to 600 horsepower)

   Inspect the engine wiring harness and the specific injector cable routed to Cylinder 6.

   Test the low-voltage side of the Cylinder 6 injector circuit to locate where it is shorting to battery power.

   Repair or replace wiring

   Repair the shorted section of the wiring harness or replace the affected injector cable/harness once the exact location of the short to the battery is isolated.
