Case IH 3119 (F-1043-17) - ECU – Engine Control Unit (ECU) / A-095: Internal 12V supply voltage is too low

The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) monitors its internal 12V supply voltage. If the ECU determines that this internal voltage value has dropped below the expected lower limit, it logs this fault code.

   Check for other active error codes displayed alongside 3119

   Verify that the tractor's battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (such as a jump-starter or external charger). If connected, disconnect it and test the system for normal operation

   Verify that the machine's primary battery voltage is healthy and within normal operating specifications

   Software Verification

   Connect the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine's diagnostic port.

   Re-flash the ECU

   Check the ECU (A-095) for the appropriate software version. Re-flash the ECU with the latest software update.

   Test the Machine

   After the re-flash is complete, cycle the key and test the machine. If the fault has been resolved, return the machine to service.

   Replace the ECU

   If the ECU cannot be re-flashed, or if the internal voltage fault persists after the software update, the internal circuitry of the ECU has failed. You must remove and replace the ECU (A-095).
