Case IH 3210 – ECU A-095: Injection bank 1 short circuit failure (all injectors of the same bank can be affected)

A hardware error or short circuit has been detected in the injectors of Bank 1 or within their respective power stages.

   Verify that the machine's battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (such as a jump starter or external charger)

   Check for individual injector codes (3063, 3071, or 3079) that might isolate the short circuit to a single cylinder rather than the whole bank

   Check the ECU A-095 to ensure it has the appropriate software version if no individual injector short circuit codes are present

   Isolate External Factors

   Disconnect any external power supplies and clear the codes to see if fault 3210 (DTC 7116) returns.

   Address Individual Injectors First

   If codes 3063, 3071, or 3079 are present alongside 3210, diagnose the wiring and the specific injector for that cylinder. A dead short in one injector can shut down the entire bank.

   Inspect Wiring

   Check the wiring harness connecting Injection Bank 1 to the ECU A-095 for chafing, bare wires, or shorts to ground/power.

   Re-flash the ECU

   If the wiring is intact and no individual injector codes are present, the issue may be a software logic error in the ECU A-095 power stage. Re-flash the ECU A-095 with the latest software.

   Verify Repair

   After re-flashing, determine if fault 3210 (DTC 7116) is resolved. If the fault persists, the hardware power stage inside the ECU A-095 or the injectors themselves may require physical replacement.
