Case IH 3235 – Engine Control Unit (ECU A-095): Exceeded the number of injections for a given engine speed

The number of requested fuel injections is greater than the number of actual injections the high-pressure fuel system can physically deliver for the current engine speed, typically due to the calculated injection cycle time being too short or an ECU software error.

   Verify that the tractor's battery power supply has not been connected to an external power supply (such as a jump box or external charger). If connected, disconnect it and test for normal operation.

   Check the Engine Control Unit (ECU A-095) to ensure it is running the appropriate and most up-to-date software version.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect your diagnostic tool to the machine and verify the software version currently installed on ECU A-095.

   Re-flash ECU

   If the software is outdated or corrupted, re-flash the ECU A-095 with the appropriate, updated software.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the fault codes and run the engine to verify if the code returns.

   Replace ECU

   If the ECU A-095 cannot be successfully re-flashed, or if the internal hardware has failed and the code persists, the ECU A-095 must be replaced.
