Case IH 3254 – Engine Control Unit (ECU / ECM): ADC Monitoring Internal Reference Voltage Out of Bounds

Internal failure within the Engine Control Unit (ECU) regarding ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) monitoring, specifically that the internal reference voltage is out of bounds.

   Verify Active Codes: Check if 3254 is accompanied by other ADC internal errors (like 3255 'test impulse error' or 3256 'queue error').

   Inspect Wiring: Inspect the engine wiring harness for any severe short circuits to ground or battery voltage. A dead short on a 5-volt sensor circuit can sometimes back-feed and pull the ECU's internal reference voltage out of specification.
