Case IH 3276 – Engine Control Module (ECM) / EDC: MIL Visualization Not Available for BC2EDC1
Issue description
This is a Controller Area Network (CAN) communication error. It indicates that the Engine Control Module is not receiving the expected "BC2EDC1" CAN message from the Body Controller (or Instrument Cluster) confirming that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is available or functioning.

Check the cause
Verify the CAN communication lines between the Engine ECU and the Body Controller/Instrument Cluster for open circuits, short circuits, or high resistance.
