Case IH 3305 (DTC 2765) - ECU – Engine Control Unit (ECU A-095): Fuel rail pressure has exceeded minimum limit

This code indicates that the fuel pressure in the common rail has dropped below the minimum threshold required to perform proper fuel injection. The system monitors the fuel rail pressure sensor (B-015). If the control unit detects a signal voltage lower than expected (less than 189 mV for a period greater than 200 ms), it triggers this fault.

   Verify that no external power supply (such as a jump box or external charger) is connected to the tractor's battery

   Check the signal circuit for the B-015 fuel rail pressure sensor for a short-to-ground condition

   Inspect the fuel system for an actual low fuel pressure condition caused by a failing fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or fuel leak

   Determine if the B-015 sensor has suffered an internal failure

   Disconnect External Power

   Ensure no external battery chargers or jump-starters are connected to the machine.

   Inspect the Harness

   Locate the fuel rail pressure sensor (B-015) on the fuel rail. Inspect the sensor's connector and the wiring harness leading back to ECU A-095 for chafing, corrosion, or bent pins.

   Test the Circuit

   Use a multimeter to check for a short to ground on the sensor's signal wire. The ECU expects a voltage higher than 189 mV during operation.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring is intact and fuel supply/filters are confirmed good, the B-015 sensor has likely suffered an internal failure and must be replaced.

   Clear Codes

   After replacing the sensor, clear the fault codes from the ECU and run the engine to verify that the fuel rail pressure reads normally and the code does not return.
