Case IH 3317 – Engine Control Unit (ECU) / EDC (Electronic Diesel Control): Minimum Number of Injections Not Reached - Stop Engine

This code indicates a critical failure in the fuel injection system. The engine control module monitors the fuel injection cycles; if it detects that the minimum required number of fuel injections to safely sustain engine operation has not been reached, it will log this code and force an engine shutdown to prevent catastrophic mechanical damage.

   Check battery voltage to ensure the system has adequate base voltage, as low voltage can disrupt the EDC and injector firing sequences.
