   Check Engine Power: Determine if the engine is actually losing power or limiting RPMs. Sometimes the sensor triggers the warning before a noticeable power drop occurs.

   Inspect the Primary Filter/Water Separator: Check the primary fuel filter bowl for water or heavy sediment. The primary filter usually houses the Water in Fuel (WIF) sensor, while the secondary (engine-mounted) filter houses the pressure sensor that triggers the "clogged" code.

   Check Fuel Lines and Tank: Inspect the fuel lines from the tank to the cooler and pump for kinks or collapses. Check the fuel tank pick-up tube screen (mesh screen) for debris, which can restrict flow and mimic a clogged filter.

   Check Tank Venting: Ensure the fuel tank vent line is not kinked or clogged, which can create a vacuum and restrict fuel delivery.

   Clean the Pre-Screens

   If equipped, remove and clean the mesh screen on the bottom of the transmission/fuel routing block or the fuel tank pickup tube.

   Bleed the Fuel System

   Turn the key to the ON position (without starting the engine) to allow the electronic primer pump to run. It may take 1 to 1.5 minutes for the pump to fully prime the system and purge air.

   Start the tractor and verify that the engine reaches full RPM under load. The pending fault code should clear once normal fuel pressure is restored.
