   Verify recent service history to determine if the EDC (Engine Controller) was recently replaced or flashed (missing self-learning parameters cause).

   Perform cylinder-specific diagnostics focusing on the injector flagged by the engine configuration (e.g., Cylinder 4 on a 4-cylinder, Cylinder 3 on a 6-cylinder).

   Check the wiring harness between the EDC and the affected injector for shorts, high resistance, or loss of synchronization.

   Inspect the fuel system for leaking injectors or rail pressure sensor issues that can cause injection quantity deviations.

   Restore self-learning parameters

   If the EDC was recently replaced: Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST). Navigate to the engine controller programming menu and execute the appropriate service tool procedure to 'Restore Self Learning Parameters'. Clear the fault code.

   If the EDC was NOT replaced: Inspect the injector circuit for the cylinder specified by the engine type (e.g., Cyl 4 for a 4-cylinder).

   Test wiring harness

   Test the wiring harness for continuity and voltage drops between the EDC and the injector. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Replace fuel injector

   If the circuit tests good, the fault lies within the injector itself (causing a quantity deviation). Replace the faulty fuel injector.

   Replace EDC
