3752

Case IH 3752 – Engine Controller: Zero Fuel Calibration (ZFC) issue

Issue description

Error in the plausibility of the energizing times of the zero fuel quantity calibration

Applies to these machines

  • Farmall
  • skid steer
  • Skid Steer Loaders (SSL)
  • Compact Track Loaders (CTL)
  • tractors with F5C engines

Check the cause

  1. Connect the appropriate Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine's diagnostic port

  2. Verify the presence of code 3752 (Zero Fuel Calibration error)

  3. Attempt to Reload the Engine Dataset (reflash/update the engine calibration software) to see if the plausibility error clears

Repair steps

  1. Reload Engine Dataset

Use the service tool to reload the engine dataset.

  2. Evaluate

Cycle the key and re-check for the fault code.

  3. Replace Engine Controller

If the fault persists after the dataset has been successfully reloaded, the Engine Controller (EDC) has suffered an internal failure and must be replaced.

  4. Restore Parameters

If the EDC is replaced, you MUST follow the appropriate service tool procedure to restore the engine's Self-Learning Parameters.
