   Verify that code 3767 is currently Active and not just a stored historical code caused by a past voltage anomaly.

   Inspect the battery voltage, main engine controller relay (Terminal 30), and ground circuits leading to the ECU to rule out severe undervoltage or overvoltage.

   Ensure the CAN communication harness connected to the ECU is not shorted or damaged before condemning the module.

   Disconnect battery

   Turn off the machine's ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical arcing.

   Locate Engine Controller

   Locate the Engine Controller (ECU) mounted on the engine block or firewall.

   Disconnect wiring harness

   Carefully release the locking levers on the main wiring harness connectors (e.g., the 89-way Bosch connector) and unplug them from the ECU.

   Remove faulty Engine Controller

   Remove the mounting bolts and extract the faulty Engine Controller.

   Install replacement Engine Controller

   Install the replacement Engine Controller and secure the mounting hardware.
