Case IH 3810 (DTC 4125) - ECU – Engine Control Module (ECM) / EDC: Fuel pressure Sensor: Rail pressure raw value is intermittent.

The engine control module is receiving an erratic, intermittent, or incorrect electrical signal from the high-pressure fuel rail pressure sensor.

   Check for related active faults (such as fault 3110 / DTC 1225 - Rail pressure sensor value is above maximum offset). Diagnose and resolve these first as they may trigger the 3810 code secondarily.

   Check that the fuel rail pressure sensor is properly mounted and secured to the fuel rail. Tighten to spec if loose.

   Thoroughly inspect the sensor's electrical connector and the wiring harness leading back to the ECM for loose pins, moisture intrusion, corrosion, or chafed wires that could cause a momentary loss of signal.

   Preparation

   Ensure the engine is completely switched off, the key is removed, and the engine has cooled down. High-pressure fuel systems can be dangerous if residual pressure remains.

   Disconnect

   Locate the fuel rail pressure sensor on the common fuel rail and carefully unplug the electrical harness.

   Removal

   Unthread and carefully remove the old sensor from the fuel rail.

   Installation

   Install the new OEM-spec sensor into the rail. (Always refer to your specific machine's manual for the exact torque specification to prevent fuel leaks or thread damage).

   Reconnection

   Plug the electrical harness back into the new sensor.

   Testing

   Start the engine and monitor the dashboard or diagnostic tool to verify that the injection system is operating correctly, fuel pressure readings are stable, and the fault code has cleared.
