Case IH 4145 – EHR: Rear remote no. 4 - not commanded neutral on power-up

When the tractor was powered on, the remote control valve No. 4 did not receive a command to turn to the neutral position, or the controller did not detect the valve in the neutral position.

   Check for other active EHR error codes, as the system may trigger 4145 as a secondary fault.

   Make a note of any other error codes, clear all error codes from the system, and test the hydraulic system for normal operation.

   Clear Codes

   If you haven't already, clear the error code(s) and test the system. If the fault is no longer present, return the machine to proper operation. If the fault is still present, proceed to Step 2.

   Software Update and Configuration

   Download the correct (latest) level of software into the EHR controller using the Electronic Service Tool and reconfigure the EHR valve.

   Retest

   Cycle the power and test the system. If system operation is normal and no fault codes are recorded, troubleshooting is complete.

   Valve Replacement

   If the fault reoccurs after the software update and configuration, the valve itself has failed internally. You must remove, replace, and configure the new EHR valve section for rear remote No. 4.
