Case IH 4304 – EHR (Electronic Hitch/Hydraulic Remote) / ATC (Armrest/Tractor Controller): Rear remote no. 6 - not commanded neutral on power-up

The electronic control system did not detect the spool for the 6th rear remote valve in the neutral position when the machine was powered on.

   Check for other EHR error codes that may indicate a broader electrical or communication issue

   Clear all error codes using the Electronic Service Tool (EST) or tractor display

   Retest the system for normal operation to see if the code returns

   Software Update & Configuration

   Download the correct level of software to the tractor and reconfigure the EHR valve using the diagnostic service tool.

   Test Operation

   Cycle the power and test the remotes. If system operation is normal and no fault codes are recorded, troubleshooting is complete.

   Valve Replacement

   If the fault reoccurs after a software flash and calibration attempt, remove, replace, and configure the new EHR valve section for Rear Remote No. 6.
