Case IH 4319 – EHR (Electronic Hitch/Hydraulic Remote) / ATC (Armrest/Tractor Controller): Rear remote no. 7 - under voltage

The control unit has detected that the voltage supplied to, or returning from, the Rear Remote Valve No. 7 is below the normal operating threshold. This typically indicates a wiring issue, a poor connection, or an internal failure within the valve's solenoid/actuator.

   Inspect the EHR valve connector for Rear Remote No. 7 (often designated as connector C202 or C207).

   Verify pin fitment by ensuring the connector is fully seated, wires are not damaged or chafed, pins are in the correct position, and the pin fit is tight.

   Test the wiring harness between the EHR control unit and the remote valve for continuity, shorts to ground, or open circuits.

   If the harness and connector supply the correct voltage, test the EHR valve itself for an internal failure.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.

   Repair Wiring/Connectors

   If the diagnostic checks revealed damaged wires or loose pins at the C202/C207 connector, repair or replace the damaged wiring harness section or connector pins.

   Replace the Valve

   If the wiring is intact and the fault persists, remove the faulty EHR valve section for Remote No. 7. Install the new remote valve section and torque mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Configure the Valve

   After replacing an EHR valve section, use the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to configure and calibrate the new valve to the tractor's CAN bus system.

   Clear Codes

   Once the repair is complete, clear the error code from the system and test the hydraulic remote for normal operation.
