Case IH 4325 – EHR (Electronic Hitch/Hydraulic Remote): Rear Remote No.7 - Output Stage Faulty

The electronic driver circuit (the "output stage") that commands the pilot solenoid for the 7th rear remote hydraulic valve has detected an internal electrical fault. This is typically caused by an internal failure of the valve's electronic control head, a short/open circuit in the wiring, or a failure in the solenoid drive.

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connector at the Rear Remote No. 7 valve slice for corrosion, pushed-back pins, or wire chafing.

   Swap the electrical connector from Rear Remote No. 7 with an adjacent, known-good remote valve (such as Remote No. 6) to isolate the component. If the code changes to the adjacent valve, the electronic drive inside the No. 7 valve is defective. If Code 4325 remains, the issue is in the wiring or EHR controller.

   Check for accompanying EHR codes (such as 4326 for Position Transducer Faulty or 4327 for Spool Cannot be Brought Back to Neutral) to confirm an internal valve failure.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor, relieve all hydraulic system pressure, and disconnect the battery.

   Wiring Repair

   If the diagnostic cross-test pointed to the harness, locate the break or short in the wiring between the EHR controller and the valve connector. Repair the wire or replace the connector pigtail.

   Valve Replacement

   If the valve's internal output stage is faulty, the electronic control head (or the entire remote valve slice) must be replaced. Disconnect the hydraulic lines and electrical connector, unbolt the tie-rods holding the remote valve stack together, remove the defective No. 7 valve slice, and install the replacement slice with new O-rings. Torque the valve stack tie-rods to OEM specifications and reconnect the hydraulic lines and electrical connector.

   Calibration

   Reconnect the battery. Using the tractor's Pro Vision / AFS display or the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST), clear the inactive fault codes. Run the EHR valve calibration procedure so the new valve's travel limits are learned by the EHR module.
