Case IH 4333 – EHR (Electronic Hitch / Hydraulic Remote): Rear remote no. 8 - under voltage

The system has detected that the electrical voltage supplied to or returning from the number 8 rear remote control valve has fallen below the acceptable operating threshold.

   Inspect the EHR valve connector C208 to ensure it is securely plugged in, wires are not frayed or damaged, and pins are in the correct position with a tight fit.

   Test the tractor CAN BUS at the remote harness connector C208 by measuring voltages with the ignition switch in the ON position.

   Turn off the machine and safely relieve any hydraulic pressure.

   Locate rear remote valve No. 8 and disconnect harness connector C208.

   Repair or replace the harness/connector as required.

   Perform this if the diagnostic checks revealed damaged wiring, bent pins, or corrosion.

   Replace the EHR valve.

   Perform this if the harness and connector test within normal voltage specifications, indicating the EHR valve has an internal electrical failure.

   Remove the faulty EHR valve section and install the replacement valve.

   Ensure all hydraulic seals/O-rings are properly seated.

   Reconnect connector C208.

   Use the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to clear the error code.

   Start the tractor, bring it to operating temperature, and test the No. 8 rear remote for normal operation.

   Ensure the code does not return.
