Case IH 4572 – CCM (Cab Control Module) or APH (Auxiliary/PTO/Hitch): Incoherent number of FEHR setting

This code indicates a configuration mismatch: the number of front remote valves programmed into the tractor's software does not match the number of valves physically detected on the CAN bus network, or the programmed value is invalid/implausible.

   Count the actual number of Front Electro-Hydraulic Remotes physically installed on the front of the tractor.

   Access the tractor's AFS display (Pro 700 / Pro 1200) and navigate to the hydraulic configuration screen to see how many front remotes the system thinks are installed.

   Check for accompanying communication fault codes (e.g., 4560, 4561, or 4562 for Front Remotes 1, 2, or 3). If a front remote valve loses power or CAN bus communication, the controller may drop it from the network, triggering the mismatch.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors at the front remote valve stack for corrosion or damage.

   Connect the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) laptop to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Turn the ignition key to the ON position (engine off).

   Open the EST software and access the CCM / APH controller configuration menu.

   Navigate to the Hydraulic / Remote Valve Configuration settings.
