Case IH 51032 – Aux Remote Controller: Aux Remote Controller failure - Valve Current Enable Protection High

The controller has detected the valve current enable protection circuit is reading high. This is typically caused by the control supply voltage being near the upper limit, a bad connection to the battery or improper ground, or an internal controller failure.

   Check system voltage at the main controller connector (e.g., cavity 1 and 12 of connector C053) to ensure it is not spiking near the upper limit.

   Check the charging system to ensure the alternator is not overcharging the system.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the Aux Remote Controller for chafing, corrosion, or short circuits.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on the electrical system.

   Locate controller

   Locate the Aux Remote Controller (location varies by model, often found near the rear remote valve stack or under the cab floor).

   Inspect and clean harness connections

   Disconnect the main wiring harnesses from the controller and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or spread terminals. Clean with contact cleaner if necessary.

   Clean grounds and terminals
