Case IH 51108 – Remote AUX Controller: Invalid Software Instruction Executed

The controller attempted to process an invalid or unrecognized software command. This is usually a software problem, though there is a small chance it is caused by a hardware failure.

   Inspect the controller's wiring harness for any physical damage.

   Check connector C053 to ensure the controller has a solid connection to the battery.

   Make sure the AUX controller has a good, clean connection (C053) to the battery.

   Ensure the controller is properly grounded to the chassis.

   Clear fault code

   Clear the fault code from the tractor's instrumentation/diagnostic menu.

   Restart tractor

   Shut down the tractor completely, then restart it.

   Test operation and contact dealer if needed

   Operate the tractor to see if the code returns. If the same fault code appears again, contact your district PSM (Product Support Manager) or local Case IH dealer, as the controller will likely need a software reflash or complete replacement.
