51133

Case IH 51133 – AUX Controller: Invalid Software Instruction Executed

Issue description

Indicates an internal logic or software execution error within the module.

Applies to these machines

  • MX Magnum
  • Case IH MX Magnum Series
  • Case IH Steiger Series

Check the cause

  1. Inspect all connector ends for damage, bent, or dislocated pins

  2. Inspect and test the wiring harness between connectors C340 and C054

  3. Verify that the remote hydraulic controller has proper power and ground connections

  4. Connect all connections and turn the 1st remote valve on, then test connector C054 (should read approximately 12 volts at pin 6 and low voltage at pin 7)

Repair steps

  1. Repair harness

If the wiring harness between C340 and C054 is damaged, repair the harness and retest the system.

  2. Verify controller failure

If the harness, power, and ground connections are all verified to be in good working order, but the controller fails the voltage test at connector C054 (does not output 12V at pin 6 and low voltage at pin 7 when the 1st remote valve is activated), the controller has failed internally.

  3. Replace controller

    Replace the remote hydraulic controller.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • Remote Hydraulic Controller (AUX Controller)

A single universal part number is not provided. The exact controller part number varies heavily depending on the specific tractor model and chassis serial number. Pull the specific part number directly off the existing AUX controller or consult a dealer parts catalog.
