Check the cause
Verify that the controller has a solid connection to the battery, specifically checking connector C053
Ensure the controller is properly grounded
Clear the fault code from the system
Shut down the tractor completely and restart it to see if the code returns
Repair steps
Inspect wiring harness
Inspect the wiring harness leading to the Auxiliary/Armrest controller for any signs of damage, focusing on the power and ground circuits (Connector C053).
Clean and tighten connections
Clean and tighten the battery and ground connections.
Clear fault code and restart
Clear the fault code, cycle the key, and restart the tractor.
Attempt software reflash
If the fault code returns immediately, the issue is internal to the controller (software corruption or hardware failure). Contact your dealer to attempt a software reflash.
Replace controller
If a software update does not resolve the issue, replace the Auxiliary/Armrest controller.
Calibrate system
After installing a new controller, a dealer must connect a laptop with the OEM diagnostic software (EST) to calibrate the hydraulic levers and system.
