Case IH 5120-19 - VCM – VCM: Vehicle controller loss of communication with cab suspension controller

The main vehicle controller is no longer receiving expected data messages from the dedicated controller that manages the semi-active or active cab suspension system over the machine's CAN bus network.

   Check the CAN bus wiring harness between the VCM and the Cab Suspension Controller for continuity, shorts to ground, or open circuits.

   Repair wiring

   Repair damaged CAN wiring/connectors.

   Check power and ground

   Ensure the Cab Suspension Controller is receiving proper power and ground.

   Replace controller

   Replace a failed Cab Suspension Controller or VCM if internal module failure is diagnosed.
