The park brake pressure sensor is a variable resistance sensor used to monitor the parking brake release pressure, which in turn monitors the regulated hydraulic pressure. If the pressure falls below the required specification, the system flags a warning and illuminates the park brake indicator lamp.

   Check Sensor Supply Voltage: Verify that a 5V power supply is reaching the sensor from CCM2 connector X017, terminal J3-26.

   Review Electrical Schematics: Refer to electrical schematic frames #9 and #27 to trace the wiring between the Park Brake Sensor (designated as component B-53) and the CCM2.

   Check for Circuit Faults: Inspect the wiring harness for open circuits, shorts to ground, or shorts to power.

   Verify Hydraulic Pressure: Ensure the actual regulated hydraulic pressure is not genuinely falling below specification (check hydraulic control pressure pump or PTO gearbox control pressure manifold).

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.

   Locate sensor

   Locate the Park Brake Pressure Sensor (Component B-53) on the primary hydraulic power system manifold.

   Verify reference signal

   Disconnect the sensor harness and use a multimeter to verify the 5V reference signal from CCM2 connector X017 (terminal J3-26).

   Remove faulty sensor

   If the 5V reference is present but the sensor resistance is out of specification, remove the faulty variable resistance sensor.

   Install new sensor

   Install the new park brake pressure sensor into the manifold.

   Reconnect harness and battery

   Reconnect the wiring harness and restore battery power.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the fault codes from the CCM2 and Universal Display, then test the parking brake release pressure to ensure the indicator lamp remains off.
