Case IH 518560-14 - ACM – ACM: Incorrect EHR lever 2 configuration

The control module has detected that the Electro-Hydraulic Remote (EHR) lever has an incorrect configuration, has lost its calibration data, or is not calibrated properly.

   Check the display for any other active ACM (Armrest Control Module) error codes or communication loss codes (e.g., 4004 or 4005).

   Determine if the EHR lever, the armrest controller, or the EHR control unit was recently replaced or flashed. If so, the lever simply needs to be calibrated.

   Inspect the electrical connectors beneath the armrest going to the EHR lever block. Ensure the connectors are seated tightly, not damaged, and that the pins are in the correct position.

   Clear the code

   Clear the error code from the system memory and test the EHR lever for normal operation.

   Calibrate the EHR Lever

   If the fault returns, perform the EHR lever calibration procedure. On Vision Pro/AFS Connect monitors, this is typically done by navigating to the EHR settings screen or the Calibration Wizard (Vehicle Settings > Menu Diagnostics > Vehicle Diagnostics > Calibration Wizard) and following the on-screen prompts to set the lever parameters.

   Update Software

   If the EHR lever was calibrated but the error code still occurs, download and flash the correct and most up-to-date level of software to the ACM, then repeat the EHR lever calibration procedure.

   Replace the Component

   If the fault occurs again after software updates and a successful calibration attempt, the internal potentiometers/sensors in the EHR lever are faulty. You must remove and replace the EHR control unit / lever block.
