Case IH 518560-19 - ACM – ACM: EHR lever 2 disconnected

The control module has detected an open circuit or a complete loss of communication/connection with the specific fingertip control lever used to operate the #2 rear hydraulic remote valve.

   Remove the armrest trim/cover and verify that the electrical connector plugged into EHR lever 2 (Lever B) is fully seated and securely latched.

   Inspect the wiring harness between the EHR lever and the ACM. Look for pinched wires, broken wires, or pushed-out/corroded pins in the connector.

   Verify via the tractor's display (e.g., AFS Pro 1200) or the Electronic Service Tool (EST) that the ACM configuration is correct and that EHR lever 2 is properly assigned.

   Attempt to perform the EHR lever calibration procedure. If the lever fails to calibrate or the display shows an error during the process, the lever's internal potentiometer/circuit has likely failed.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect battery power to prevent short circuits while working inside the armrest.

   Access the Levers

   Remove the retaining screws for the armrest control console cover to expose the ACM and the EHR lever blocks.

   Disconnect

   Unplug the wiring harness connector specifically routed to EHR lever 2.

   Remove the Lever

   Remove the mounting screws holding the faulty EHR lever in the armrest console and pull the lever assembly out.

   Install the New Part

   Insert the replacement EHR lever, secure it with the mounting screws, and plug in the electrical connector.

   Reassemble

   Reinstall the armrest cover and restore battery power.

   Calibrate

   You MUST perform the EHR lever calibration procedure using the tractor's display or the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) so the ACM learns the new lever's minimum, maximum, and neutral detent positions.
