Case IH 518564-13 - ACM – ACM: EHR lever F sensor disagreement
Issue description
This code indicates that the redundant position sensors inside the Electro-Hydraulic Remote (EHR) lever #6 (Lever F) are providing conflicting or implausible voltage signals to the control module.
Applies to these machines
3 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- Case IH Magnum AFS Connect Series
- Case IH Steiger AFS Connect Series
Check the cause
Determine if the EHR lever was recently calibrated, or if the Armrest Control Module (ACM) / EHR control unit was recently replaced without a follow-up calibration
Check if the tractor's ACM is running the most up-to-date software version, as outdated software can cause false sensor disagreement flags
Repair steps
Initial Calibration
If the EHR lever was not calibrated (especially after a controller change), perform the EHR lever calibration procedure via the AFS Pro 1200 display / Vision Pro operating system.
Recalibration
If the EHR lever was already calibrated previously, repeat the EHR lever calibration procedure to see if the sensors can successfully relearn their parameters.
Software Flash
If the error code returns after calibration, download the correct/latest level of software to the ACM and perform the calibration procedure again.
Hardware Replacement
If the fault occurs again after software updates and a successful calibration attempt, the internal sensors of the EHR lever have failed. You must remove and replace the EHR lever assembly / EHR control unit.
