Case IH 518566-01 - ACM – ACM: Internal failure in EHR lever 8

The code triggers when the system detects an internal hardware or software mismatch/failure within that specific remote valve control lever.

   Check if the EHR lever was recently calibrated, especially if the Armrest Control Module or the EHR control unit was recently replaced or disconnected

   Verify that the tractor's ACM is running the most up-to-date software version, as software glitches can falsely flag internal lever failures

   Initial Calibration

   If the EHR lever was not calibrated (or if a controller was recently changed), perform the EHR lever calibration procedure using the AFS Connect monitor.

   Recalibration

   If the EHR lever was already calibrated, repeat the EHR lever calibration procedure to see if the module can successfully relearn the lever's parameters.

   Software Flash

   If the error code returns after recalibration, download the correct/latest level of software to the Armrest Control Module via the Electronic Service Tool (EST) and perform the calibration procedure again.

   Hardware Replacement

   If the fault occurs again after software updates and recalibration, the internal circuitry of the lever/control unit has failed. Remove and replace the EHR control unit / EHR lever assembly.
