Case IH 519576-11 - UCM – UCM: Steering valve controller calibration fault

The system attempted to calibrate the steering valve controller but the procedure failed or the resulting values were out of the acceptable range.

   Check Software Versions: Verify that the Steering Valve Controller (SVC) and Universal Control Module (UCM) are running the latest software.

   Verify Power and Ground: Check for related voltage fault codes (such as 627-04 or 627-01). Ensure the steering valve is receiving proper battery voltage.

   Check CAN Communication: Verify the integrity of the CAN 2 wiring harness for shorts or open circuits between the UCM and steering valve controller.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine's diagnostic port.

   Clear fault codes

   Clear inactive fault codes.

   Update software

   Flash/update the UCM and Steering Valve Controller (SVC) to the latest software versions if they are outdated.

   Run calibration

   Rerun the automated Steering Valve Controller Calibration procedure via the EST or the AFS Pro monitor.

   Replace hardware

   If the calibration fails again (logging 519576-11), the physical steering valve or the steering valve controller hardware may be defective and require replacement.
