Case IH 520444.13 - ACML – ACML (Armrest Control Module): ACML RAM check, out of calibration

The Armrest Control Module has failed its internal memory (RAM) check, or the calibration data stored within the RAM has become corrupted, lost, or is reading out of its expected operating range.

   Verify battery and charging system voltage. Low voltage during startup or operation can cause the ACML to fail its RAM check or lose calibration data.

   Check if any of the Electro-Hydraulic Remote (EHR) levers or the multifunction handle are sticking or physically out of their neutral detent positions.

   Determine if the tractor recently had a firmware update or if the data flash is partially corrupt, which can trigger manufacturer-specific RAM/configuration errors.

   Power Cycle

   Turn the key off, wait 30 seconds for the modules to power down completely, and restart the tractor to see if the RAM check clears.

   Recalibrate Armrest Controls

   Enter the tractor's calibration menu (often accessed via the A-post by holding the PROG key while turning the ignition on, or via the Pro 700/1200 display). Navigate to the 'ARM' section and perform the calibration sequence for the armrest controls (pulling levers back, forward, and returning to neutral).

   Re-flash the ACML

   If the calibration will not save or the code immediately returns, connect the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST). Attempt to re-flash the ACML software to repair any corrupted RAM data.

   Replace the Module

   If the module will not accept a flash or fails the RAM check immediately after a successful software update, the internal memory of the ACML has physically failed. The module must be replaced.
