Case IH 520601-00 - BCM – BCM: Work lamp #4 - too many loads or faulty load

The circuit powering Work Lamp #4 is experiencing an excessive electrical current draw. This underlying condition is typically caused by too many components being spliced into the circuit, a short circuit in the wiring, or a defective/internally shorted lamp assembly.

   Verify that no unauthorized aftermarket accessories have been spliced into the Work Lamp #4 circuit

2. 2

   Inspect the wiring harness for short circuits

3. 3

   Test the work lamp itself to see if it is defective and drawing too much power

   Remove excess loads

   Remove any excess loads from the circuit.

   Repair wiring

   Repair shorted wiring.

   Replace work lamp

   Replace the faulty work lamp assembly.
