The position sensor on the right side of the cab suspension is sending a signal voltage that is below the acceptable calibrated range. This can be caused by a physical drop/sag in the right side of the cab suspension (due to a failed shock, airbag, or hydraulic ram), a faulty rotary position sensor, or a wiring issue such as a short to ground or an open circuit in the sensor's signal wire.

   Perform a visual and mechanical inspection of the right side of the cab suspension. Look for a collapsed shock absorber, a leaking hydraulic ram, or a deflated air spring. If the cab is physically sitting low, the mechanical/hydraulic issue must be addressed first.

   Unplug the right cab position sensor and inspect the harness and connector pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-back pins.

   Turn the tractor's starter switch to the 'ON' position and measure the supply voltage at the sensor connector (typically between PIN 3 and PIN 1). The displayed voltage must be a steady 5 volts.

   If the 5V reference is present, check the signal wire for continuity back to the Cab Suspension Module (CSM) and ensure it is not shorted to ground.

   Secure the Cab

   Before working under the cab, ensure the tractor is parked on a level surface and the cab is safely supported using appropriate blocking or cab stands to prevent it from dropping.

   Replace the Sensor (if electrical)

   If the wiring and 5V supply are good but the sensor output is out of range, remove the mounting bolts for the right rotary position sensor. Disconnect the linkage arm, install the new sensor, and reconnect the linkage.

   Replace Suspension Components (if mechanical)

   If the suspension ram or shock is blown, relieve hydraulic/air pressure from the system. Remove the upper and lower mounting pins/bolts on the right suspension cylinder or shock absorber and replace the unit.

   Recalibrate the System

   After replacing the sensor or suspension components, the Cab Suspension Module (CSM) must be recalibrated. This is typically done through the tractor's Pro 1200 display or using the Case IH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to relearn the neutral ride height position.
