Case IH 524240-31 - ITBV – ITBV (Intelligent Trailer Brake Valve) controller: Internal failure of the trailer brake controller

   Check CAN Bus Communication: Ensure there are no accompanying CAN communication faults (such as CNH codes 12892, 12898, or 12899) between the Trailer Brake Controller and the Vehicle Controller. If communication codes are present, troubleshoot the CAN lines first.
