The fault code indicates a Trailer Brake Controller Internal Fault. The ITBV system automatically activates the trailer's braking system to equalize the braking effect between the tractor and the trailer. An internal fault means the controller has detected a hardware failure, memory error, or internal processing failure within its own circuitry.

   Check the ITBV software version. Software updates (e.g., updating the Trailer Brake Control iTBV to software version 1.3.0.0, part number 51595354) may be required.

   Inspect the fuse panel located behind the operator's seat (accessed by removing the rubber liner and using a coin/screwdriver to rotate the large screws 1/4 turn to release the tray). Check fuse F-030 (10 Amp), which supplies the Intelligent Trailer Brake Valve (iTBV) UNSW B+.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors at the ITBV module, specifically checking the X-386F wire connector and dust cap for moisture, damage, or corrosion.

   Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine.

   Access the fuse and relay panel behind the operator's seat to verify the 10A ITBV fuse (F-030) is intact.
