Case IH 55093 – Transmission Controller: Transmission Controller Pressure Sensor Circuit Fault

Transmission system fault related to a pressure sensor circuit. This code is expected to be triggered intentionally during a circuit test to verify the integrity of the transmission controller.

   Inspect connector ends for damaged, bent, or dislocated pins before proceeding with electrical troubleshooting.

   Short connector C044 cavity B to cavity C.

   Verify if fault code 55093 occurs after shorting the cavities.

   Perform diagnostic short

   Perform the diagnostic short on connector C044 (cavity B to C).

   Replace transmission controller

   If fault code 55093 does not occur during this test, the transmission controller has failed internally. You must replace the transmission controller.

   Replace pressure sensor

   If the controller is functioning properly but the pressure system is still faulting, replace the pressure sensor.

   Clear fault codes

   Clear any fault codes before attempting to recalibrate the transmission.
