Case IH 59 – TMF (Tractor Multi-Function) Controller: Both Draft Pin voltages are not within spec for 'no load' condition during calibration.
Issue description
The control module is reading baseline voltage signals from the left and right lower link draft sensing pins that fall outside the acceptable zero-point parameters. Because the system cannot establish an accurate baseline 'zero' load, the hitch calibration process fails or aborts.

Check the cause
Verify 'No Load' state by ensuring there is absolutely no implement attached to the 3-point hitch and that the lower links are hanging freely without binding.
Inspect the draft pin connectors and wiring for moisture or water ingress, which commonly skews voltage readings.
Test the wire harness for continuity, damaged wires, or shorts to ground/power.
Perform a voltage sweep test using a back-probe kit to measure the voltage on the back side of the connector to see if the potentiometers/sensors are stuck out of range or transition smoothly.
Repair steps
Clear the Hitch
Remove any implements, quick hitches, or weights from the 3-point linkage.
Clean and Inspect Connections
Disconnect the left and right draft pin sensors. Clean the connections with electrical contact cleaner. If moisture is found, dry it out thoroughly.
Test/Replace Sensors
If the wiring harness tests good but the voltages are still out of specification, the draft pin sensors have internally failed. Remove the retaining hardware and extract the faulty draft pins.
Install New Components
Lubricate and install the new draft pin sensors. Apply dielectric grease to the electrical connectors to prevent future moisture intrusion, and secure the wiring harness out of the way of moving linkage parts.
Recalibrate the Hitch
Once the new pins are installed, you must perform the Hitch Controller Calibration procedure. (Note: You will likely see TMF Code 61 active, which simply means 'The Hitch Calibration procedure must be performed').
