Check the cause
Cycle the key OFF, then ON to retest and see if the code is still active.
Check the condition of Fuse 14.
Enter diagnostic mode H9 on the tractor's display to check for an intermittent fault on channel 8 between fuse 14 and the processor.
Verify if the diagnostic value displayed is less than 35.
Repair steps
Replace Fuse
If Fuse 14 is blown or faulty, replace it and retest.
Inspect Harness
If the fuse is intact but the code persists, disconnect processor connector C127.
Repair Wiring
Locate and repair any open or short circuits in the wiring harness between the fuse panel, the processor (connectors C127/C128), and the EDC hydraulic valve.
Reseat Connectors
Remove, inspect for corrosion or bent pins, and securely refit the processor connectors (C127 and C128).
Reset and Recalibrate
If the error still occurs, reset the processor using Mode H8 and perform a full recalibration of the hitch/transmission system.
Replace Processor
If the error persists after resetting and recalibrating, the internal processor (EDC controller) has failed and must be replaced.
