Issue description

Current flowing to the right valve of the cab suspension system is exceeding normal parameters, typically indicating a short circuit to ground in the wiring harness or an internal short within the valve's solenoid coil.

Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness leading from the Cab Suspension Module (CSM) to the right cab suspension valve for pinched wires, melted insulation, or chafing

  2. Check the electrical connector at the valve for water ingress, corrosion, or damaged pins

  3. Test the solenoid coil on the right cab suspension valve for an internal short

Repair steps

  1. Repair or replace wiring

    If the wiring is damaged, repair or replace the harness section.

  2. Replace valve coil or assembly

    If the valve coil is internally shorted, replace the coil or the entire valve assembly.

  3. Clear codes

    After replacing the faulty component, clear the codes from the CSM to verify the repair.
