Case IH 9071 - UCM – UCM: Front hitch single/double acting solenoid 2 short circuit to 12V

The control module has detected an unexpectedly high voltage (battery voltage/12V) on the circuit controlling the #2 solenoid for the front hitch. This condition typically means the signal or ground wire for the solenoid has shorted directly to a 12V power source, the solenoid coil itself has failed internally, or the module's internal driver has shorted.

   Harness Inspection: Visually inspect the wiring harness between the UCM and the front hitch control valve block. Look for chafed insulation, melted wires, or pinch points where the solenoid control wire might be touching a 12V power supply wire.
