Case IH A-ACT-001 - Display – Display / Activations module: Conflict, no machine unlock
Issue description
This is a low-severity fault indicating that an aftermarket or replacement display has been installed in the tractor without the required 'machine control unlock'. The display is functioning but is locked out of controlling the machine's integrated systems because it lacks the software activation code required to pair the display's control capabilities with that specific vehicle.
Applies to these machines
6 machines- MAGNUM AFS Connect
- STEIGER AFS Connect
- AFS Connect Magnum
- Steiger
- Quadtrac
- Optum
Check the cause
Verify if the AFS Pro 1200 display was recently replaced, purchased as an aftermarket add-on, or swapped from another piece of equipment.
Navigate to the Activations menu on the AFS Pro 1200 display to verify the current status of the machine control unlock and ensure no other activation keys are missing or expired.
Record the serial number of the AFS Pro 1200 display and the PIN of the tractor, as the dealer will need these to generate the correct cryptographic unlock code.
Repair steps
Contact dealer
Contact your local Case IH dealer's precision farming or service department.

Navigate to the Activations setup menu on the display.
Enter activation code
Enter the provided activation code into the system and save the configuration.
