Case IH A-CORE-002 - Display – Display Core: Display High Temp limit reached, Display will re-start.

High-Severity alert indicating that the internal temperature of the display core is extremely high. To protect the hardware from thermal damage, the display is programmed to gracefully save all active data and automatically shut down.

   Assess cab climate for a failure of the HVAC (air conditioning) system on a hot day

   Check if the back of the display is being subjected to intense, direct sunlight for prolonged periods without adequate cab cooling

   Ensure there are no jackets, hats, or other items draped over the display that could block passive heat dissipation from the monitor's casing

   Allow Shutdown

   Do not force a hard power-off. Allow the display to gracefully save its data and shut down on its own to prevent data corruption.

   Reduce Ambient Temperature

   Take immediate measures to cool the cab environment. Turn the air conditioning to maximum. If the tractor's AC is broken, open the cab doors/windows and move the machine to a shaded area.

   Cool Down Period

   Wait for the display core to physically cool down to a safe operating temperature.

   Restart

   Once the ambient temperature is reduced, cycle the key to restart the display.

   Hardware Evaluation

   If the display continues to log A-CORE-002 and shut down while the cab is cool (normal ambient conditions), the internal thermal sensor or the display core itself has failed. In this scenario, the display unit must be sent out for HMI/LCD repair or replaced entirely.
