Case IH A-CORE-003 - Display – Display Core: Display Under-Voltage Condition Detected

The display supply voltage has fallen to 7 V DC. The display is in a critical low-voltage condition, which will result in the display shutting down. The system will attempt to save data prior to this forced shutdown.

   Check the Display Supply Voltage at the display harness connector to verify if it is actually receiving 7 V DC or less

   Check the Battery and Charging System to ensure the machine's batteries are fully charged and the alternator is outputting the correct voltage

   Inspect the Wiring Harness by tracing the power supply wiring from the display back to the power source, looking for chafed wires, loose ground connections, or corroded pins

   Power Down

   Turn off the machine and disconnect the battery ground to ensure safety while working on the electrical system.

   Resolve Power Supply Issues

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a wiring issue (e.g., a damaged display harness or corroded connector), repair or replace the affected wiring. Clean and tighten any loose ground connections.

   Replace the Harness (If Necessary)

   If the display harness is internally damaged and causing the voltage drop, install a replacement harness.

   Replace the Display (If Necessary)

   If the harness provides a healthy 12V+ to the display connector but the display internally faults and reads 7V (indicating an internal short or hardware failure), the AFS Pro 1200 display unit must be replaced.

   Re-test

   Reconnect the battery, power on the machine, and monitor the display to ensure the A-CORE-003 code does not return and the system remains stable without shutting down.
